FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Coaching sessions are with Sian and Victoria. You can find out more about them here
1. What is a session like?
We have a chat over phone or Zoom. You can tell me what you’d like to focus on and we discuss a plan to get the results you want. We normally recommend the number of sessions you might need and we book those in.
Working together might involve some tasks in between sessions, we might talk about times in your past or things you want in the future. We use my background in Coaching and Cognitive Hypnotherapy to select the best approach for you. It’s a very a practical and positive way of working.
Often we record a hypno-meditation especially for you to strengthen the message of the session. People usually find these relaxing and very helpful. We normally email some ideas to you after our appointment such as talks, books or podcasts. We’re available by email for questions in between sessions.
2. What is your background?
Both Sian and Victoria have been trained in Cognitive Hypnotherapy and Coaching. We love what we do and enjoy seeing the results clients get. Find out more here.
3. How long does a session last?
It’s normally an hour but can be a bit longer or shorter depending on the person.
4. Do I have to be on camera?
No, it’s totally up to you. Video is good as we get to know each other but not necessary. People often hide their camera so they don’t have to see themselves.
5. Will work find out what I’ve discussed?
Everything is totally confidential. If you were a danger to yourself or others we’d have to get additional support for you and that can be your choice - your GP or HR for example. Other than that you communicate direct to your Coach and it’s completely private.
6. Is there anything that you can’t help with?
Some conditions are beyond our expertise such as: schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, psychosis, hallucinations, suicidal thoughts and borderline personality disorder. If you suffer from any of those conditions then we’d be happy to have a chat with you to suggest other support but we wouldn’t be able to work together.
7. I can’t make an appointment, how do I cancel?
We ask for 48 hours to rearrange an appointment so we can offer it to someone else. When you book an appointment you will receive a confirmation email. There’s a link in there to cancel or rearrange your appointment. Or just send me a message to let me know.
